The Windber Fire Department drills every Monday night at 1830hrs. All training sessions include a lab/lecture portion unless specified. Weekly training is open to all departments, anyone wishing to attend can contact our Training Officer at 814-467-7111. Departments or Personnel attending should always bring full PPE/SCBA. Outside Agencies must have a letter of approval from their respective Fire Chiefs or EMS Managers. In addition to the weekly training, we offer several State and Federal training opportunities throughout the year.
